MUNICIPAL PRESIDENT PRESENTED THE WINNER CUPS TO THE MOST SUCCESSFUL TEAMS

Scouts squad "Lola" is a total winner of 31 team orientation competition of Scouts Serbia called "Cup of Kralj Petar I", which was held last weekend on the grounds of the Memorial Park "Bubanj". The competition, which was successfully organized by the Scout of "Kralj Petar", under the auspices of Palilula Municipality and the Office of Youth of this Municipality, included more than a hundred participants from Serbia and Macedonia. Cups to the most successful teams were presented by the President of Palilula Boban Džunić.

"Once again I want to stress the importance and role of scout organizations working with children and young people in promoting the environment and healthy lifestyles, informal education, the promotion of voluntary work. It is an organization that has a long tradition and successful results and that is why we support and help its work.Three of scout squads work on our territory of the municipality, "Kralj Petar I" detachment "Djuka Dinic" and "School ship Jadran" and have very good cooperation with the Office for Youth of Palilula and educational institutions. This weekend (18-20 September 2015) more than 36 million of volunteers from over 120 countries, gathered in the global environmental campaign Clean up the world, in order to protect our planet for future generations. And we are also joining this activity. Palilula Municipality has good cooperation with civil society organizations. With a scout organization and media ecological network EKOpolis, developing partnerships around the implementation of programs and projects for young people in Memorial Park `Bubanj`.

According to Momcilo Petkovic, the elders of the "Kralj Petar II", the track and weather conditions were tests of skill and endurance of the competitors. The orientation in unfamiliar territory, signaling, tying knots, first aid, test history, nature trips, are just some of the disciplines in which they competed scouts at the Memorial Park `Bubanj`. We have with us this year the members of the Equestrian club "Nonius" said Petkovic, Elder of the action. And this year, the good results of the scouts were wished by the Crown Prince Aleksandar Karadjordjevic.

After evaluating of the participants Cup "Kralj Petar I ", socializing is what will be remembered. In this competition, planetary ecological activities, "Clean Up the World- Clean Up the World 2015" in Serbia, with the message: "OUR TOWN, OUR PLANET, OUR RESPONSIBILITY." was successfully promoted. Nis Palilula Municipality is achieving the aims of the international project "Living green" through environmental education of young people. Competitions is scouting skills, living in environment, care for life surrounding are just part of the activities in the community.
